About the course

Modern Mandala art is an adaptation of ancient symbols from various cultures. Some cultures used a mandala to represent the universe or a wholeness of being. This circle with repeated patterns is somewhat therapeutic and meditative to create. During this workshop, using pen and a square of paper, you will create your own small 4”x4” interpretation of these symbols. You will then mount your piece onto a panel which you can either hang or put on a shelf. Be prepared for a calm, focused activity that will allow you to be absorbed in creating a carefully designed shelfie. This workshop is 2.5 hours in length and requires a minimum of 4 people for a fee of $200. Each additional person costs $15 to cover materials.
