Resting for the Journey

I love to go to Point Pelee National Park in the fall to witness the migration of these amazing lepidotera.  The king of butterflies amass there in the thousands at twililght before beginning their long journey over Lake Erie at dawn.  This watercolour is matted to approximatley 9"x12".
