Midnight Sun

This pastel painting is matted to approximately 15"x19".  The inspiration for this painting came from a canoe trip on the The Wind River in the Yukon Territories.  Late evenings were so bright and emerging from the tent at the wee hours revealed the sun still above the horizon - such a cool experience.
