I have done some of this style before and they have been popular. It is a fun watercolour project with layers and layers of colour to darken each layer of animals. One animal is represented more than the others. Can you figure it out?

I had fun adding the definition of life from an old dictionary to this colourful watercolour.

I created this multi-media collage for the upcoming LAC banquet. Who will be the lucky swimmer that gets to take this home to inspire them to Dream BIG?

I have had some fun playing with words. Here is one with three words as the main theme and all words related to that word are in the same colour: A fun interpretation of Love, Heart and Strong.

It has been a while since I have posted and updated my website! Here is one of the sea turtles I recently completed in pastel. I am spending some time today getting ready for an art show tomorrow night at Banting House in support of the Diabetes Society. I have a watercolour workshop next week with the Brush and Palette Club. Hopefully I will bet some of the work from there posted.

I have been having fun creating some little things with my art: hair barettes - all unique and a name pin for my coaching jacket! I think I will make some more of them to sell at a Point and Pick, our new local skating and dance shop.

Here is a fun little project I called "stuffies on the shelf." I poured watercolour paint onto a piece of paper. Once it was dry, I looked it over to "find" an image in it and this is what I came up with. The "stuffies" were developed from shapes I saw in the flow of colour on the page. "Rainbow Cow" I had on a shelf in my art room and have used her before in other projects while the bear and cat were from my imagination. The colours in the background are highlighted in the "stuffies."

Here is one of the paintings I have hung at the Masonville Library until this Saturday. There has been great feedback from the show and 1 piece sold. Also, I was just talking to someone from Porky's BBQ and Liesure on Sarnia Road and they have had plenty of great comments about my art that is hung there in the back showroom. I am hoping to have some time over the holidays, once all the extended family leaves, to finish up a few things I have been working on. There has been lots of inspiration from the workshops I have been attending. Feel free to ask me about my art - there is always a story behind every peice and I do love to share my enthusiasm for all things nature!
