Celebrating Canada 150 and proud to be Canadian.  Here is a project I completed on 9" x 12" paper.  Each province and territory is completed in a different tangle pattern.

Lots of time and effort went into this project.  So much fun.  I have already started another one.  It just goes along with my passion for the outdoors and all things camping!

This week was exciting for me as I received confirmation that my image "barefoot" was selected by the London Arts Council for their public art project to feature art on traffic boxes.  It is so wonderful to have acknowledgement for my art.  It is nice to get good comments but the true "self-worth" seems to still be someone paying you.  As an artist, that is the true test that you have "made it."

my VIDA collection

I was excited to receive my shipment of VIDA clothing.  The "Scales" scarf is modeled here.  Beautiful silk and cashmere, soft and warm.  Underneath is the "Walkin in Sunshine" shirt.  It is a comfy cotton t-shirt.   I have just uploaded more totes.  Great time to pick up Christmas gifts.
