Celebrating Canada 150 and proud to be Canadian.  Here is a project I completed on 9" x 12" paper.  Each province and territory is completed in a different tangle pattern.  

Here are the photos of the work I am submitting for review for the TimeRaisers150 initiative.  What a great progam of connecting volunteers to organziations through supporting local artists.

Lots of time and effort went into this project.  So much fun.  I have already started another one.  It just goes along with my passion for the outdoors and all things camping!

This week was exciting for me as I received confirmation that my image "barefoot" was selected by the London Arts Council for their public art project to feature art on traffic boxes.  It is so wonderful to have acknowledgement for my art.  It is nice to get good comments but the true "self-worth" seems to still be someone paying you.  As an artist, that is the true test that you have "made it."

I was excited to receive my shipment of VIDA clothing.  The "Scales" scarf is modeled here.  Beautiful silk and cashmere, soft and warm.  Underneath is the "Walkin in Sunshine" shirt.  It is a comfy cotton t-shirt.   I have just uploaded more totes.  Great time to pick up Christmas gifts.  

It was fun to try some white, gold and sliver on black paper for this zentangle.  

I have a confession to make:  tangling has taken over my life!  There I've said it.  I have validated my addiction.  When I get a chance to sit down for a block of time, I get out my paper and pens and tangle!  Here are a few of my latest creations:

I am happy to say that both of these little friends have found a new home.  Dr. Jeffery Edwards in Byron has my little guy and Dr. Kari Spencer in Byron Village has my little gal.  Stop by and say HI!
